Our experience represents over 100 years of drum and container reconditioning. Max Rubin, President of Maxi Container has held almost every regional and national office within the Association of Container Reconditioners (ACR) and its predecessor the National Barrel and Drum Association (NABADA). Max founded National Drum and Barrel Company in 1956. Recognizing the need to expand into other types of industrial packaging, he founded Maxi Container in 1980. He has served as Vice-President of NABADA, Chairman of the By-Laws and the Ethics committees, member of the Executive Committee, the Convention Committee, and was a Director and Chairman of the Central Region for 30 years. In 1988 he was only the third person to receive the Morris Hershon Award of Merit for his many contributions to the industry. Max’s father, Charles Rubin was a founding member of NABADA in 1942, and began his container reconditioning career working with wooden barrels in the early 1900’s.
